Sign-Ins

NEW in 2026: ALL SIGN-IN FEES WILL BE CASHLESS
Practice is open until the close of sign-ins on race day. [Non-members need an Oaklane member present to be able to practice] Pre-registration will close on the Thursday before race day, at 10 PM (unless otherwise noted on the pre-registration). Pre-registration must be completed by 10 PM the Thursday before or the driver will start in the back of the heat race and no passing points will be given and it will be an $10 more per car.

Payment, transponder pick-up and pill draw will be done at the sign-in room, for one-hour, beginning 2 hours prior to race start. Driver/Handler Meeting at 15 minutes prior to race start in the hot chute. [Rookies should be in their cars for the meeting]
Heat races begin promptly after the driver/handler meeting. A brief intermission after the heat races, followed by lower mains/feature races.
Regular races will typically start at 4:00pm (weather permitting). All drivers must have a parent/handler with them when signing in

Oaklane Members $25.00 per car, per driver when pre-registered for regular races.
Non-members $30.00 per car, per driver when pre-registers for regular race day
$40.00 Special Events (Sponsor Cup, Shoot Out, Pumpkin)
$10.00 transponder rental (if needed) HANDLER’S DRIVERS LICENSE WILL BE HELD UNTIL THE TRANSPONDER IS RETURNED.

$10 per car "late fee" assessed for same day registration.
Electric charge (as explained below) is additional and a mandatory charge per tailer parking spot.

Only Yellow "Karting" transponders may be used at Oaklane. Red "auto racing" transponders do not function correctly on the short track. We will gladly trade your red transponder for a yellow at no cost on race day.

Electric Service
Each trailer parking spot will be assessed a fee for electric. 

$15.00 per plugged in unit (trailers and motorhomes are separate units)

$15.00 per night for motorhome parking (includes trailer)
Electric fee is collected during driver sign-ins.
Electric services is available for the season for a flat fee of $180 per plugged in unit.
Generators are not permitted to be used on the premises.
